MAXINE SHERARD, Ph.D.
Retired University/College Professor

           Dr. Maxine Sherard holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Iowa, Masters degree from Michigan State University and Bachelors degree from South Carolina State University. She has taught at San Diego State University, University of Wisconsin- La Crosse and San Diego Community College District.
            For more than 30 years, Dr. Sherard taught mathematics and physical sciences to prepare young people for good 21st century jobs.  Many of her students have become teachers, scientists, engineers, doctors and other professionals with the skills to participate in the “American Dream.”
